I ride breakless fixed on the street & tracklocross in the Southern Cyclocross club. My riding just takes me where ever I want to go. Tarmac to mud. I have ridden exclusivly Izumi chains for over five years on serveral bike.

This is the first Supertough chain I have bought (because it's expensive). However I went with the extra costs based on advice from another heavy duty fixed rider and to max out my custom build with the Scolorian Zanskar tracklo frame.

The chain is super quite, feels lighter and more 'responsive' than the standard chain. As a breakless street rider I need the chain for stoping the bike. While Izumi chains have always felt solid, this chain feels a step up. Will buy again.

Another great quality product that runs nice and even, quiet and free, this will be my new chain going forward.

I purchased both the stock and ultra sonic cleaned chain, and both are great value for the price. Smooth, quiet, and strong.
